Photizo Human
CONDITION PRESENTED:
Adult Male. Over one-year-old ulcer (Alcoholic and mild venous insufficiency). Wound was treated with L-Mesitran Soft over the previous months.
DURATION OF PHOTIZOTREATMENT:
On 2 October 2005 Photizo® therapy commenced. The L-Mesitran Soft therapy was continued. Photizo® was used once a day for 5 minutes.
CONDITION AFTER PHOTIZO:
Wound epithelialized on 22 October, 20 days after Photizo® and L-Mesitran Soft treatment (date on sticker incorrect)
CONDITION PRESENTED:
75 Year old male. Severe cut to the head
TREATMENT DONE BEFORE PHOTIZO:
On visit to the hospital the bleeding was stopped and the cut stapled
DURATION OF PHOTIZO TREATMENT:
After a week, the staples were removed by the GP and 3 Photizo Light Therapy treatments were done to increase healing and reduce scarring

The second picture was taken 15 days after the head injury
CONDITION PRESENTED:
Male On the 7th of April 2007, I had a severe bike accident. I was not wearing my protective gear and flipped my motorcycle. I was rushed off to the hospital where I was heavily sedated for the pain. The next morning I had my first of three surgeries in which the wound was cleaned. The next two surgeries were for skin grafting. After three weeks in the hospital and three weeks on crutches, the wound was still not healed on the ankle.
TIME ILLNESS BEFORE PHOTIZO:
3 Weeks.
DURATION OF PHOTIZO TREATMENT:
I was introduced to Hannie Strobos and the healing of LED light. Before I started with the treatment the wound had trouble healing because of the severe damage to my soft tissue and bone. The 1st photo is of my ankle before treatment with the Photizo was started. As you can see the wound was spreading and all the applications I applied didn’t seem to help much. This photo was taken on the 05 June 2007. We started treatment on a daily basis in 5 times a week, the next photo was taken on the 12th of July 2007 almost a month later and the improvement can clearly be seen.
Not just at the wound itself but the whole skin grafted area improved dramatically. There were two places where the skin didn’t grow back and at the 2nd photo you can see that the smaller wound was almost completely healed. In August I stopped treatment and I could see that the healing progress of my wound was not at the same rate as it was whilst treating with the Photizo. The 3rd photo was taken on the 20th of October 2007.
CONDITION AFTER PHOTIZO:
I presume if I did not stop in August it would have been completely healed in September. My foot was healed in November and I would like to thank Hannie for the consultation combined with the treatment in helping me with a speedy recovery.
CONDITION PRESENTED:
71 year old female. Small trauma wound was treated for 86 days with isobetadine and was not healing.
DURATION OF PHOTIZO TREATMENT:
Light therapy was done for 3 minutes, once a day (betadine treatment was continued). No compression bandage was used on this patient.
CONDITION AFTER PHOTIZO:
The wound took a total of 20 days to heal with the use of light therapy whereas it was not healing before for over 2.5 months.
CONDITION PRESENTED:
68 year old female. Knee prosthesis and numerous unsuccessful skin grafts. The wound was over 1 year old at start of treatment and the patient had been in hospital during the week for the past year, only going home on weekends. The wound was only treated on weekends
DURATION OF PHOTIZO TREATMENT:
The patient had to stay in the hospital during the week and was scheduled for a final skin graft. The home care nurse suggested to the surgeons to treat the patient with the Photizo® device during the weekend and postpone the surgery. The doctors agreed and waited for the results. The first Photizo® treatment (once a day for 6 minutes) was started on 29 October 2005. The base treatment was L-Mesitran Soft. Treatment results 2 days later show already a remarkable improvement. The patient was sent back to the hospital after the weekend and there was no Photizo® treatment for the following two weeks.
Small trauma wound was treated for 93 days with Intra Site Gel and was not healing.
DURATION OF PHOTIZO TREATMENT:
Light therapy was done for 3 minutes, once a day (the wound was now covered with a amorphous hydrogel and a foam on top). No compression bandage was used on this patient.
CONDITION AFTER PHOTIZO:
The wound took a total of 22 days to heal with the use of light therapy whereas it was not healing before for over 3 months.
